Our latest study, published in BMJ Open, set out to discover the true long-term impacts of adult Growth Hormone Deficiency (GHD).
The takeaway: Adult GHD places a complex burden on patients. The condition is associated with an increased risk of premature mortality, cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, depression and socioeconomic challenges such as unemployment.
